Your introduction sets the scene for the rest of your report. Unlike titles and abstracts, introductions rarely have character limits. That means you have a little more space to express yourself. Use these extra words to grab your reader’s attention.

Your introduction should accomplish four things:

Provide context

Describe why you conducted this research

Explain what your team tried to do

Tell readers what to expect
